Humanitarian Communication Thesis Prize Call 2018
Have you recently written your Master’s thesis on the representation of the Global South while enrolled in a Dutch university or other academic institution? Then send us your thesis and you may receive the IDleaks Thesis Prize 2018 and a cash prize of €250!
To enter the competition and be eligible for the IDleaks Thesis Prize, a few conditions apply. Your thesis must:
- have been completed between January 1st 2017 and April 1st 2018;
- have been written at a university or other academic institution in the Netherlands;
- have been graded 7,5 or higher;
- be written in Dutch or English;
- be about communication (in the broadest sense) on development issues and/or developing countries in the Global South, in any discipline or area of knowledge.
Your thesis will be reviewed by a selected committee and assessed on the following criteria:
- Academic quality and originality
- Societal relevance and urgency
- Writing style and structure of the thesis
To enter the competition, please fill in the registration form at http://bit.ly/idleaksthesisward2018 and send a digital copy of your thesis (and a proof of your grade) to [email protected] by July 1, 2018 (mentioning ‘IDleaks Thesis Prize 2018’). In case the file is bigger than 10MB, please use WeTransfer or a similar file transfer site.
